Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Kajitsu. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please terminate your account.

Content Rating

As of now, we don't verify age at signup. A portion of the site is marked as NSFW or photosensitive and isn't appropriate for minors. If you're under 13, please don't use this site. If content on the platform isn't legal for you to see wherever you live, don't access it.

Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your account secure. This includes using a strong password and not sharing your account with anyone. You may also enable two-factor authentication for an extra layer of security. In this case you also need to keep your email and 2FA tokens secure.

Content

You must only post content you produced yourself or have the rights to reproduce, this includes transformative works.

You must accurately tag your posts as not safe for work (NSFW), spoiler or photosensitive when applicable.

You are not allowed to post any of the following:

• Illegal content;
• Harassment, hate speech or doxxing;
• Scamming, impersonation or undisclosed advertising;
• Spam or low-effort/mass-produced content;
• Content that infringes someone else's copyright;
• Unmarked/untagged sensitive content (NSFW, spoiler, photosensitive);
• AI generated content

We may remove posts or even suspend or terminate accounts depending on the severity of the violation.

Automated Systems and Scraping

You are not allowed to use automated systems to post, comment or like content on Kajitsu. Scraping content or mass downloading content is also prohibited, no matter the method or purpose.

If we suspect you are doing this, we will put your device on a watchlist. If we find out you are doing this, we will start serving garbled content.

Reporting and Moderation

You can report posts, comments and profiles. Reports are reviewed by our moderators as soon as possible. Submitting a report doesn't guarantee a specific outcome. Abusing the reporting system is itself a violation of these terms.

If you found your copyrighted work posted without your permission, please contact us with a detailed description of the work, the url of the post, and proof of your ownership or that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright holder.

Contests

These terms apply to all contests run on Kajitsu. Each contest has its own theme, tag, prize amount, and duration.

Tagging your post with a contest's tag automatically enrolls it in the contest. Your post must be public and fit the contest's theme, otherwise it will be disqualified regardless of the number of likes.

Your entries cannot be NSFW, spoiler, or photosensitive. Only posts made between the start and end dates are eligible for that contest.

When a contest ends, the eligible entry with the most likes wins. In case of a tie, we'll decide on a case-by-case basis rather than applying a fixed rule.

Before a win is finalized, we review the posts and authors for signs of manipulation(botting, vote brigading, etc.). We may disqualify likes found to be inauthentic.

If we disqualify an entry for any reason, we'll notify the account and give them a 14 day window to appeal the decision. To do so, just contact us at hello@kajitsu.cc. After this window is closed, the prize will move to the next eligible entry.

The winner will be contacted via their registered email address. To claim the prize, they must respond within 30 days of being notified. If this window closes, the prize will be awarded to the next eligible entry, and the notification and claim process restarts for that entry.

You're responsible for any taxes owed on a prize you receive.

The winner can abdicate their prize to the next eligible entry, but they cannot transfer it to another user of their choosing.

Whenever a prize moves on due to disqualification, abdication, unclaimed prize, it always goes to the next most liked submission that isn't from the same account.

We may modify, postpone, or cancel a contest at any time. Decisions on theme fit, fair play, and appeals are at our discretion and final once the appeal window closes.

Termination

You can deactivate or permanently delete your account at any time from account settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, misuse the platform, or if we discontinue the service.

No Warranty

Kajitsu is provided "as is," run as an independent project. We don't guarantee uninterrupted access, that content will be error-free, or that moderation will catch everything. Use it at your own discretion.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Kajitsu and its operator aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, including content posted by other users.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as Kajitsu evolves. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do; continuing to use Kajitsu after changes take effect means you accept them. We will notify users of major changes via email and/or a site-wide notification.
